ABOUT

KIEKIEBOX is an old Afrikaans and Dutch word that means camera. In Afrikaans it also relates to the actual box your photos or memories are kept in. When they had visitors in the past people would often say: 'Go get the kiekiebox!' which meant they wanted to take a photograph or that they wanted to show off their fond memories and the things they cherished.

This is exactly why we have chosen this name, we see KIEKIEBOX as the place that captures the moment for you and who creates an innovative way to display what is precious to you in the best possible way. We want you to be proud of whatever it is you have to show the world and to be able to stand out against your competitors.

On photography and design

We always integrate our photographic and design skills. Photography has often provided us with the inspiration for design projects and our design skills always help us compose a photograph and see what the end product could be like. Whatever the project we always look at what the best possible solution would be.

Designing websites and other work we always consider how you can build the brand and communicate what it is the client really wants to say about themselves or their product.

Doing photography whether it is for a wedding or a commercial shoot we try to capture the essence of the moment. KIEKIEBOX loves showing the beauty of people and capturing the small details of a setting.
